Most of the Rome night clubs shut down during the summer time( even because the heat becomes unbearable during
the summer and it literally suffocates the city during july and august) but the town does not slow down:
it offers indeed all kind of events, festivals and shows. The offers are various: from the World music festival in Villa Ada
( one of the city parks) to the Villa Celimontana Jazz Music Festival, from the Gay Village( it has concerts, nightclubs,
a cinema festival and its location changes every year) to Fiesta. And that’s not it: there are many open air cinemas,
opera and classical music events( usually held at the Caracalla Thermal Baths)
and every kind of events, also sport ones.
